Habitat and work. THINK ABOUT THE CITY OF THE 21st CENTURY
On September 19 and 20, 2013, I participated as moderator in the “habitat and work” table, within the 2nd FORUM “THINKING THE CITY OF THE 21ST SCENT” organized by the Eixo Atlántico and the City Hall of A Coruña.
On such a broad topic and with speakers who have developed their work on such diverse scales, the presentations sowed us with uncertainty. And given the difficulty of defining the current city and the spaces in which the work of its inhabitants takes place, we were offered a reflection on the change in the urban dimension in its form and uses, without fully clarifying what the new ones are. opportunities of current urban systems, such as the space we use and the place where we develop our activities. If this time there has not been space to think about the city of the 21st century, surely whoever sees these presentations again will find new questions.
